Juvenile Hurling. St. Peter’s 3-16 Castlecomer 2-13

Our juvenile hurlers had a good victory at home over Castlecomer on Tuesday March 24th in the Leinster A league championship. Played in breezy conditions in Power park, Castlecomer had wind advantage in the first half and turned 3 points in front. However, with an improved second half display coupled with the aid of the wind, the boys in green and white managed to get the necessary scores and finished up winning by 6 points. This was their final game in the league section and they now await the draw for the knockout championship after Easter.
