Credit Union Art Competition This year again we had a number of winners in the Credit Union competition. In the Junior Competition (13 years and under) - 1st Prize was awarded to Paddy Devereux and 3rd prize went to Cormac Murphy. In the Senior Competition (14 to 17 years) - Nathan Lacey won 1st Prize, Carl Fox won the 2nd prize and Jason O’Dowd received 3rd Prize. These students were presented with school Certs at the End of Year Award ceremony on May 12th in recognition of their achievements. Wexford Wildfowl Reserve Art Competition The following artists had their work displayed in the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve Art Competition and were presented with their prizes by Don Conroy in the Ardcavan Wildlife Reserve on Thursday 20th May. Well done to the following students: 1st Place - Sean Murphy, 2nd Prize - Carl Fox and 3rd Prize - Nathan Lacey. In the Junior Section, 1st Place was awarded to Sean Maher |

| TEXACO ART COMPETITION | ||
| Congratulations to Mark Byrnewho was awarded a Certificate of Commendation in the Texaco Art Competition for reaching the final stage of the judging process. There were 30,000 entries in the competition. Well done! | ||

| ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS 2009/10 | ||

We are delighted and proud to learn that Ultan Quirke a past pupil of the College has been awarded an Academic Scholarship for 2009/10 by the Institute of Technology Carlow. The criteria for the selection was based on: First year students 2009/10 Highest Leaving Cert/FETAC points score per course Registered students on the course Points score greater than 400 A presentation of Academic Scholarships & Sports Scholarships will be held on Thursday 25th Feb 2010 at the Main Campus, Institute of Technology Carlow. Well done to Ultan on his achievement from all at St. Peter's College.  |
