about_st_peters3St. Peter’s College, Wexford is a Diocesan Secondary School under the patronage of the bishop of Ferns and dedicated to the education of its pupils. It is an all boys’ school and was a Boarding School up to recent times..

There are 42 teachers on staff including the Principal, Deputy Principal, Guidance Teacher and Learning Support Teacher. The school is also privileged to have the services of a School Chaplin.

The Board of Management is pursuing a major building programme at the moment, some of which has been recently completed.

St. Peter’s College is a Catholic school and we aim to promote and deepen faith in Jesus Christ and to hand on His message and values. We hope students who graduate from St. Peter’s will be well equipped to serve society as good citizens, as persons of principle, capable of achieving their full potential.

In our education philosophy, academic excellence is an important concern. The pursuit of excellence however is integrated with the personal, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of the child.

In St. Peter’s College there is a genuine attempt on the part of all to create a school community of equality, fairness and care. The Principal and staff play a central role in realising the Christian philosophy of the school. Both by their witness and their example, they give a distinctive Christian character to the school.

In their professional relationship with the students and with each other they reflect a level of care and concern for others that is the hallmark of a true follower of Christ.
